First time trying out using the so called nib replacement.. (toothpick...) (-_-;)
Just feels weird and having difficulties with painting it... the sensitivity is awful... but still mange to finish it somehow...

I sux at title...

This time the scanner didn't take away much colors.. but.. I didn't realise the rose is this huge.. until I color the rose...zzzz...

Actually, her hair color was suppose to be black.. I tried to blend with some blue..
and later adding in some green colors.. (dunno why I add green.. argh...) well, it looks kinda weird.. to me..

I thought that sprinkle some salt on the background will look nice.. (simple texture..) After a day or two, the salt on the paper is dried.. I though just a leave it for a few more days later... soon, I notice the salt... turned watery again.. (horror...)

Till now the background parts is still not dry...(sprinkled with salt parts..) It's still soft and slight soggy and still feels wet.. (completed in early November..) You can see the heavy crease on both sides..

Her eyes were closed initially and color concept was suppose to be in warm (like sunset) tone... but somehow.. it doesn't look very good.. so have to change the color concept again.. and changed her eyes too.. Thank goodness this time the color turns out okay...

Dunno when can I find a new nib replacement...

Yup.. finally the pen nib has worn down.. to less than 1-2mm... That's why these day I didn't draw or paint much.. I have to find new pen nib... in the meantime... I am try out other method...

yup.. using toothpick..(info from Internet...)

as a current replacement.. (I must be mad... lol..) the sensitivity is horrible.. of course, I have to use plastic or anything I can get my hands on to cover the tablet.. Otherwise.. can't imagine...

Testing out the new drawing paper I brought few years back... I can't bear to use new stuffs..

Dang!! To my horror... this happen... some pages turn yellowish and have many spots on it!!! This is what happen when I don't use it.. *slap head..

I totally ruin this piece.. otherwise this piece will look better..

I didn't know the paper will show so many crease after scanning it.. I thought it wouldn't... Arhhhh.. should not try to use watercolor on such light weight paper.. (itchy hand of mine...)

I took a photo of it and slight adjusted the colors in ps... Yeah~! Less crease!!

I'm trying out digital screentoning for the very first time..

No drawings these days.. so just grab an old drawing.. Sketched last year...zzz...

Having hard time adjusting back to black and white drawing...

Digital inking for this piece is not hard.. However, shading shadow and light that's the hardest for me.. (especially when I sux at anatomy and so many other stuff..)

I got very used to colorful drawing/painting.. It's a lot easier.. but this is hard... I tried to make it more soft toning like painting.. but not cannot... Flattening tones looks better instead..

Anyway, have a fun time shading his hair.. (although it still not good..)

I was play with my bro's i-phone and I notice the phone have an interesting application called: Live Kaleidoscope.. So I try it out just for fun..

Well... I ended up getting addicted to it..

I wanna make more nice kaleidoscope pics..

So, went searching through Internet hoping to find a similar program to play with..

Somehow came across a kaleidoscope plugin for ps and I went crazy with it..

First... grab any photos.. Took this photo last year.. (plenty more which I plan to upload last year but I didn't.. XP ) Then load the program..

Second round of pizza bread...

Whoohoo.. So happy I was able to eat some pizza yesterday..

For the past month... I wasn't able to eat anything except noodle, rice, vegetable and same type of fish for meal... We know the Chinese especially the elderly.. they believes that it's bad for the surgery wounds if we eat eggs, chicken, prawns... and others etc... must wait until after 3 months or 6 months later.. Then can eat whatever we want... So.. I was not allow to eat these food.. So many restriction especially when it comes to food.... Haiz...

Anyway, I always wanted to try using the bread as the base for the pizza and we have to chance to try out yesterday..

First round, we try to out with spaghetti sauce and put a few pieces of ham luncheon meat and add some shredded mozzarella cheese on the bread.. then put it in the oven.. wonder will it taste weird or not..

After 20 minutes later.. it turns out not really bad... The bread become crispy.. Yummy..

Mom wants to make another round and there she go... picture below..

This time she put so many ham luncheon meat and mozzarella cheese on the bread... Totally overloaded.. lol

Well, it was really very tasty.. Then... several hours later.. She wanted to make somemore..

Third round... This time she puts green bell pepper, button mushroom and ham...
It's taste alot better more refreshing then the previous round.. Yum~mmmy..

Yeah... I'm back~!

The operation on my back is a success... Well, I guess and hope it is.. Luckily, I don't need to donate my own blood.. Whew...

I still remember that day when I was about to push in to the surgery room, I saw my family was so worried and anxious... Papa is the most worried and nervous one... Well, as for me.. I thought I'm gonna cried or something but I was like so calm.. don't even felt scared, panicking or nervous at all... (must be the psychiatrist's medicine working!!) Thank goodness.. (usually I not this calm at all..)

I still remember the moment they put the oxygen mask on my face.. I was like waiting to fall asleep.. soon, I only remember I told them, I felt breathless then......zzzzzzzzz off to dreamland...

5 hours later, I came out of the surgery room.. I was awake and kinda drowsy.. They moved me to Highly dependency unit for a day, before moving me to my bed..

The doctor told my parents I was lucky, didn't bleed a lot during the surgery.. (heng arh...)

The pain on my back is not what I expect it would be.. I thought I'll would be in excruciating pain!!! Lucky not as painful as I though.. perhaps it the morphine that is doing the work.. (dunno how many time I press the button..) Only when the nurses turns and moves me then I felt painful otherwise.. Still bearable... But somehow, I guess I was allergic to morphine.. That very night my lips became very dried and cracked.. then the next day... my lips turn into 2 huge sausages.. Hahahhah.. I was kinda shock when I saw my lips so swollen... I look so hilarious.

I wasn't able to sleep after I came out of the surgery room for 2 whole days.. too noisy.. I heard, ecg monitor loud beeping sound, very loud snoring sound, water flowing sound, closing cabinet sound.. patients in agony sound.. and many more... it's kinda torturing for me.. Mom came to accompany me the on second day.. (They when home during the first day..) She too wasn't able to sleep either.. In the end.. The next day, we can't take it anymore.. so my mom request to discharge me from hospital.. Me too can no longer take it..

I was so worried the doctor wouldn't approved to discharge me.. because is only the second day of the surgery.. (actually I must stay for a few more days before they discharge me... ) Later, around afternoon, after poor attitude physiotherapist checked to see if I was able to walk and get out of the bed and taking some x-ray... finally after the long awaited moment.. I was able to go home~! Yeah!!!

I already forgotten that day was the first day of Chinese Lunar New Year.. I was so glad I was home.. When my parents gave me Ang Bao.. I cried.. (everyone's eyes is reddish..) Dunno, I just cried.. I guess I was very happy coming home safely..

During my stay in the hospital I saw most of the patients around me are in their old age.. (I'm perhaps the youngest in that room..), either in poor health or fell down injuring themselves and have a hard time getting themselves up.. most of them couldn't walk..

When I saw them suffering in pain.. I felt so sad.. I told my parents they must stay healthy and don't fall down.. (then I cried again..) Yeah.. Honestly, I'm scared..

My grandmama also fell down.. and happened to injured herself. (so many years ago...) since then she have to sit in a wheelchair.. She can't move around very much anymore.. Ever since then, she have to stay in her room, everyday looking out of the window.. mom have to take care of her daily routine, bathing, eating and so on.. I was only in primary 5 then... I never forget how she took care of grandmama even until now.

All I know is that, I wishes my parents will stay in good health..

Okay.... have to end my long meaningless entry here....

Still need more time to recover. Finally the nightmare is half over.. Now hoping it will recover.. after all, nerve is on my right leg have been damage for many years..

I just hope the nerve will heal more or less..

Yeah... It's stickers again... Cannot resist the temptation of buying these cuties stickers... (Haiz... waste money again...) Just came back from centre not long ago… Went to see some clothing and shop awhile with my mom… Saw so many clothing.. but non fits me.. haiz...

Lucky, this time I didn’t faint.. Because I went almost blackout on 6th of January.. Fainted at a shopping department.. (How embarrassing…) I couldn't even hear clearly or see clearly anymore.. Not to mention can't even breathe properly.. Scary... Thank goodness brother and mom was there with me.. I told them, I'm going to faint.. and I started breaking out cold sweats and my face and lips turn pale... just lean on my bro... feeling weak... Mom and bro were rather shock.. Just happen so suddenly... A kind sales-lady saw this situation she quickly gets me a stool to sit on… I've to wait until I recover my consciousness before they take me home... zzzzzz.....

Now a days I am really afraid to go out.. Scared I will faint again…

Oh well let’s skip the embarrassing part…
