I found a few screen caps I took in 2005.. my gaia gallery.. I miss the gallery... now, I couldn't find a single piece of my drawing there... (I still have no idea what happened..)

Over dosage of orange skin tone.. zzz... can't get the correct color sometimes..

The sketch drawn last year... Sketches always seems to look better than the finish piece somehow... (-_-;)

Ruin it.... XD It was fine until...
I went over the lineart with water-based maker.. (brought the marker for the first time..) and paint the background with watercolor... (80grm paper... that's why it's so wrinkle...zzzzz....) (my itchy hand again..)


Lucky, I still have the original sketch with me.. lol.. whew...

Yup.. Testing.. Try to color dark skin tone.. the traditional way with color pencils..

Scanned with transparent sheet.. Finally.. Most of the colors are still there.



Without using the transparent sheet on scanner.. color looks so much lighter..

Now, I know how to get most of the color out from scanning colored drawings!!! (Well not exactly all pieces of drawing though.. some still didn't work...) Transparent sheet!! Only know this recently... Don't remember where I read the info from...

First try without laying a transparent sheet... Yup... The scanner took most of the colors away..
