I stumble across a site which have breathtaking digital paintings of space, stars, galaxy etc... It's really cool. Oh, the artist's name is Greg Martin. It has tutorial base on making realistic star field and many more... that's where I learn from... I use this for my Inuyasha background. Below is another piece.

Comment Edit: I remember there was some steps where you have to randomly erase and adding more stars using clone tool over several layers.. It's a little time consuming .. but it's worth while. Just that my starfield don't look that nice leh..
