(Ayahh~! Forget to post this..)

I just want to paint.. so secretly copy loads of sims photos to bro notebook for reference.. XD (I'm gonna get it from bro.. he notice the laggyness while he was using before I log out..) then I saw azpainter in hard disk.. wondering if it can be use.. I try to run the program.. Bingo.. can use leh~! So I started to paint.. use some sims pictures and other pictures for references..

Took 2 day to finish it..

I only knew this the next day.. (seldom use this program..)


Even though there are no sensitivity pressure while using the tablet and I still have trouble using the program, but so happy I was able to paint something like this..

I just can't stand the crappy painting that I done.. so the next day I drew a sketch of it instead..

I don't even think I would want to label this as junk.. this painting totally failed.. haiz...

Paint with oc1.1 program..

I saw pros using just this program to complete a painting. Totally amazing..



Can't deny.. I'm a heavy ps user.. when it comes to layers, usually will end up using tons of layers.. (It's so hard to keep it less than 10 layers.. Not very use to one or just few layers painting.. for me that is..) I also rely on various brushes, blending, filter options and others in ps.. Otherwise, the drawing/painting will not look good.. This is one of my weakness.. Depend too much on ps..

I don't know how to paint his hair using oc.. I find it really tough to paint with the tablet functioning as a mouse.. it has no sensitivity pressure either..
so.. ended up like this.. Dunno why, I got extremely frustrated while painting this piece.. perhaps the screen too small.. I can't see properly on this notebook.. coloring, contrast and reflection problem.. I still prefer CRT monitor.. I'm more used to the it.. less reflection.. no need to adjust the screen..

took me 5-6 hours at least struggling to get the painting right.. (dunno what am I doing..) but still fail miserably..



Sux... Very messy.. total disaster.. his face looks so flat.. everything so wrong.. (should have look for reference...) I'm so horrible with colors too.. shakes head*... I can live without ps~!! lol. XD

I don't know why most of the drawings, the character's arms, hands or legs always look so skinny.. I never notice or realize the problem when I look at it.. but every time after scanning out the images I notice how skinny or small their limbs were.. perhaps I focus too much on their faces.. XP

A4 size printing paper..
Medium: mechanical pencil 0.5, HB, 2B and 6B.


Got too engross with the sketch.. ruin the left side eye.. I always put lots of pressure to the paper whenever I sketch.. end up causing so much crease on the paper.. should have use drawing paper instead..
