Actually this piece was this year theme for CNY. (Since it was the year of the dragon.) I thought of uploading this in DA for CNY greetings, but somehow didn't upload it.. Dunno why I didn't sumbit it..

So it was cast aside, end up completing it in April instead..

It's been a while since I upload anythings..

These several months the computer having problems, keep crashing when I tried to open some programs..

Tried win7.. I still love XP though!! I knew there are compatibility problems.. but I didn't expect many of the applications cannot use or install properly. Big headache lol. Have to change it back to XP.

Then having problems with the internet connections.. all of these have to wait for bro to fix these.. (never mind,I just have to be patience..)

I went over the lineart with water-based maker.. (brought the marker for the first time..) and paint the background with watercolor... (80grm paper... that's why it's so wrinkle...zzzzz....) (my itchy hand again..)


Lucky, I still have the original sketch with me.. lol.. whew...

Without using the transparent sheet on scanner.. color looks so much lighter..

Christmas 2011.

First time trying out using the so called nib replacement.. (toothpick...) (-_-;)
Just feels weird and having difficulties with painting it... the sensitivity is awful... but still mange to finish it somehow...

I sux at title...

This time the scanner didn't take away much colors.. but.. I didn't realise the rose is this huge.. until I color the rose...zzzz...

Actually, her hair color was suppose to be black.. I tried to blend with some blue..
and later adding in some green colors.. (dunno why I add green.. argh...) well, it looks kinda weird.. to me..

I thought that sprinkle some salt on the background will look nice.. (simple texture..) After a day or two, the salt on the paper is dried.. I though just a leave it for a few more days later... soon, I notice the salt... turned watery again.. (horror...)

Till now the background parts is still not dry...(sprinkled with salt parts..) It's still soft and slight soggy and still feels wet.. (completed in early November..) You can see the heavy crease on both sides..

The sketch was done in 2010.. (wow so long..) but dunno why.. I don't have the mood to color it and so... it been put aside..

Her eyes were closed initially and color concept was suppose to be in warm (like sunset) tone... but somehow.. it doesn't look very good.. so have to change the color concept again.. and changed her eyes too.. Thank goodness this time the color turns out okay...

The original piece.. Yup.. the skintone is slight bluish grey... Oh by the way.. It's HE.. Not a SHE.. when I finish this piece and I notice.. it looks rather feminine.. I let bro guess the gender of this image.. he's answer... female... Gahh.. I knew it lol..


Playing around with the coloring filters and blending options... and then cropped it..


Hmmm... how about silver hair instead.. It looks nice.. Arhhh.. can't decide which to upload so I upload both piece...

Dunno when can I find a new nib replacement...

Yup.. finally the pen nib has worn down.. to less than 1-2mm... That's why these day I didn't draw or paint much.. I have to find new pen nib... in the meantime... I am try out other method...

as a current replacement.. (I must be mad... lol..) the sensitivity is horrible.. of course, I have to use plastic or anything I can get my hands on to cover the tablet.. Otherwise.. can't imagine...

Completed in late August..

Testing out the new drawing paper I brought few years back... I can't bear to use new stuffs..

Dang!! To my horror... this happen... some pages turn yellowish and have many spots on it!!! This is what happen when I don't use it.. *slap head..

I totally ruin this piece.. otherwise this piece will look better..

I didn't know the paper will show so many crease after scanning it.. I thought it wouldn't... Arhhhh.. should not try to use watercolor on such light weight paper.. (itchy hand of mine...)

I really hate to use A3 size drawing paper!!! Arghhhh.... Because it's so diffcult to scan on A4 size scanner...zzzzz.... I have to waste time just trying to get all the parts together...


Didn't realize or notice Lenny's (I like to called him Lenny instead.. XD) hair is mess up until scanning it...


It was more colorful before scanning it.. I have to adjust the color in ps trying to bring out the colors... but still didn't bring it out..
